After getting the AMD running on my son's desktop, I decided to try a Ryzen laptop. Bought a used HP Elitebook 845 G7 Ryzen 7 Pro 4750u for $165 to try and it's amazingly fast with both Windows 10 Pro and Sonoma 14.7, I could run Sequoia but I didn't want to. Everything works except Sleep/Wake, but if I turn off the wifi and bluetooth and close the lid, it only loses 20% in 4hrs which is nice. Using the laptop surfing the internet actually lasts 4hr with 1/2 backlight.

Handbrake can decode with over 100fps which never seen in any Intel hackintosh. Even the iMovie is faster too.

Realtek ALC285 doesn't work with AppleALC.kext but VoodooHDA.kext works perfectly.

Intel AC-7260 works with both wifi and bluetooth.

HDMI works perfectly with sound, hotplug.

Doesn't work with BCM94360ng because of the windows driver wifi, although the macOS works.

This one can dual boot between Windows 10 Pro and Sonoma very nicely with OpenCore 1.0.2.

Need to use NootedRed.kext for the Radeon Vega 8 to have full acceleration, but stuck at 512MB.

This laptop bios can't use Smokeless UMAF to modify the VRAM from 512MB to any size because the bootloader can't load the device list AMD PBS/CBS. So the video is a little slow.

I'll post the procedure in details after I get everything working as I wanted. Right now is the sleep and video size 512MB.
