Hello, I just updated to Sequoia 15.0 Release. But when I install OCLP and Root Patch, I get the error as shown. I wonder if anyone has the same problem as me? If so, I hope you can help. Thank you

I have the same issue as yours in my LGA775 hackintosh to boot Sequotia, but no such an issue from Big Sur to Sonoma.

Is it due to hardware dependence or something else (e.g. we need FADT.aml, DMAR.aml & SSDT-ALL.aml from Stefanalmare  plus extra kernel patches ?}

No, all you enumerate is customisation for my machine.

@chris1111 Thank you, May I ask where is the privileged_helper_tool located in the Source ?.

cd /Users/kinhhoang161/Developer/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/ci_tooling/privileged_helper_tool

make debug

Something strange happened on my Intel Mac MIni 2018.

After I installed the Final Sequoia 15.0 Build 24A335, an update to Seqouia 15.1 Beta4 came (as I said for Intel Mac).

Build number 15.1 Beta4 is 24B5046f

I installed this Beta 4 15.1 Sequoia on a Test- Partition.

Now I ask myself why there was no beta1 or 2 or 3 and why was there beta4?

Does anyone know an answer to that?

I have found Infos for this Beta4 here:

Release Infos

I've had a similar issue.

What I did was, I downloaded OpenCore-Patcher-Uninstaller and OpenCore-Patcher.pkg (not OpenCore-Patcher-GUI.app)

1. Run OpenCore-Patcher-Uninstaller.

2. Reboot and clear NVRAM.

3. Run OpenCore-Patcher.pkg.

After that it should work.  At least it did in my case.

If you have in /Library/Extensions any other kext than EnergyDriver.kext, HighPointIOP.kext and HighPointRR.kext, delete them (or move to Desktop) and try again.

Also, you can uninstall OCLP and download it again.

Many thanks. I discovered that the issue was caused by deleting PcmMsrDriver.kext from the Library/Extensions folder. After uninstalling OCLP and restarting my system, I reinstalled OCLP and successfully applied the Root Patch. Now, the WiFi is working perfectly. Thank you so much! (Honestly, I already knew where that kext came from. I must have done something and then forgotten about it.).

It is OT, but maybe helpful. Because Mounty doesn't work yet on Sequoia, I made an app to mount NTFS r/w.

You need to make this before using:

1. Install brew

2. Install macFUSE

3. brew tap gromgit/homebrew-fuse

4. brew install ntfs-3g-mac

5. Open the app with Automator and change your_password with your sudo password

After that you can add it to Start at login.

Mount NTFS Disks.zip

I think you stated its use correctly, but just to be sure, you can look at my use of it in the EFI attached here.

Followed your config.plist and tried @0,AAPL,boot-display with both values, 0 and 1, no change. Thanks anyway, it's a minor issue (less than 10 secs stop in boot progress bar) but it only happens in Sequoia (betas and final).

EDIT:

Bluetooth still works great. Wi-Fi works well with HeliPort and itlwm.kext. Wish Airportitlwm.kext worked here, kinda miss the location access especially when traveling and the Weather app.

I  have AppleMobileDevice.kext and SoftRAID.kext. Should I delete them?

Move them to the Desktop to recover them after update. Try without these kexts and comment.
