OpenCore 1.0.1 is out. There are quite a few changes and improvements, although most of them are not noticeable to the end user if version 1.0.0 worked well. You can get it from Acidanthera.

Main changes

  • Updated code and added progress bar to macrecovery
  • Fixed ThirdPartyDrives quirk on macOS 14.4 and above
  • Resolved issue booting recovery for OS X 10.8 and earlier since 0.9.7
  • Bundled 10.6+ compatible nvramdump with LogoutHook release.

Config.plist

  • Nothing to do.

Kexts

Many kexts have been updated to add macOS 15 constants and other improvements.

  • AppleALC 1.9.1
  • CPUFriend 1.2.8
  • CryptexFixup 1.0.3
  • DebugEnhancer 1.0.9
  • FeatureUnlock 1.1.6
  • HibernationFixup 1.5.1
  • Lilu 1.6.8
  • RestricEvents 1.1.4
  • VirtualSMC 1.3.3
  • VoodooInput 1.1.5
  • WhateverGreen 1.6.7.

Other

  • MaciASL 1.6.5: fixed slow line number generation.

@miliuco Great summary as always.

Devs - thanks for the great work and for keeping Open Core and Acidanthera kexts updated.  It appears that VoodooPS2Controller.kext was missed in the build process.  The Acidanthera repo still shows VoodooPS2 version 2.3.5 (with VoodooInput.kext v 1.1.4 from April 2023).
