Amit_
Just installed Sonoma 14.5, everything seems to be working except for this issue I am having. I get stuck on a black screen for 3-5 minutes right after verbose. After that, the Sonoma lock screen finally appears. Booting from the USB or booting from the SSD, it happens. This even happened booting into the installer. Here are my specs: - Intel i7 13700kf - ASUS Prime Z790M-PLUS D4 - AMD Reference Radeon RX 6800 I am using these boot args: -v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 alcid=23 agdpmod=pikera I attached a pic of my EFI folder.
eSaF
If that is a true representation of your kext tree then it needs reorganizing. Lilu.kext should be first always. I don't know if that attributes to the 3 to 5 minutes black screen. Could be some misconfiguration in your graphic data in the config.plist. You may need to compress the EFI Folder and upload it here so that members can actually see where the problem is. A config.plist or a picture of it is not enough info to give constructive advice. Hi, No it is not a true representation, the Lilu kext is first in the config, I use ProperTree. I attached my EFI. Thanks. EFI.zip
MaLd0n
Use this EFI folder. Use last bios/uefi version and enable "Intel Default" option EFI Amit_.zip -Bios/UEFI in full default settings, just disable CSM and Secure Boot if need -Last Bios/UEFI Version -Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead -Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen 1
eSaF
@Amit_ - Hi try this revised EFI. Note the attached pics showing the faults within your EFI. I have removed all unnecessary entries that weren't enabled also files in the Tools Folder Spoiler which would cause a slow boot. Before you discard your working EFI, clean the NvRAM and try this on the EFI Partition of a spare USB drive. Let me know if it solves the problem. Good luck. Do you know the major changes in this EFI compared to mine? I want to learn the details rather than using a preconfigured EFI. Thank you!

I have the Intel i219V card 0x0DC88086 Edited July 11 by Amit_
