kaoskinkae
Correct installation on the OLD computer: see specifications below. It has given me a headache, we can see all the tested compilations and their reason ERROR and No Unsuppoted Host OS, I can assume that with beta 5 those who gave me No since these tests with beta 4 will work since compilation 1627 in beta 4 gave me ERROR

Skyfallkavu
This is what I get for not following updates from insanelymac and instead only watching the OCLP github 🤭 I didn't know we had functioning WiFi for over a month now. To summarise for anyone else just joining; I had some trouble getting the sequoia-dev branch built, but I did find if you head to this page: https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/blob/main/SOURCE.md Copy the link on this line "For developers wishing to validate mainline changes, you may use this link: GUI (Graphical Based App)", change the part of the URL that says /main/ to /sequoia-development/ and it'll download the nightly on that branch. I did also find AMFIPass needs to be updated, which you can find in the github files if you search for it. Make sure it's enabled before applying root patches, as it'll fail AMFI and make you kernel panic if it's not enabled. Otherwise we're all set here, Fenvi WiFi lives another day. Actually, the page you linked to is not the Sequoia-branch. That would be: https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/tree/sequoia-development AMFI pass can be found in the "payloads" directory of the repo: https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/tree/main/payloads/Kexts/Acidanthera

Even on the sequoia-dev branch, the URL is still /main/. I think this is a bit of a secret. But yeah, download the AMFIpass from the sequoia branch just in case.

cankiulascmnfye
I think something is not working properly with RestrictEvents/System Updates. The last 2 systems I updated, applying incremental updates failed and afterwards the full installer was downloaded automatically. While this is normal for systems patched by OCLP, my systems do not require root patches, so the seals of the volumes were not broken. 🤔

And there more another version, that have 59 kb. Which one do you use? RestrictEvents-1.1.4-RELEASE 59KB XCODE16.zip RestrictEvents 80KB XCODE16.kext.zip I have been tested with success compiled with Xcode 15 in Sonoma 14.5 71 kb RestrictEvents 71 kb XCODE15 Sonoma 14.5.kext.zip Edited August 14 by Max.1974 3

A proposal for another better project remained and the Chinese developer doesn't even want to take it back. It's a shame, thousands of users would like to use Intel Wi-Fi without OCLP, like me for example.
CloverLeaf
@Max.1974 Yea, that's what I heard as well. I am perfectly fine with the HeliPort, but of course, location access is not working. Still having fun with the hack, tho Edited August 14 by CloverLeaf
deeveedee
It appears that some of the OCLP patching is "hidden" during development. Can't say I blame the devs. EDIT: I should note that I haven't reviewed the code yet to confirm that this is actually hidden patching. If my guess is wrong and someone has inspected the code to determine the purpose of this "access to internal resources," I'd be curious to know. Thank you.
