During installation, some were disabled, but yes, I installed it with this set.

Yes, it's all right.

I was doing a clean install.

Now I'm more confused.  The kext versions in your OCAT screenshot do not match the kext versions in the EFI you posted. If you installed Sequoia with the kexts in your screenshot, that makes sense.

Glad you figured it out!

Ok, now I understand.

So now I take it your initial problem is solved??!! (until the next time?

I am joking, enjoy your break although I doubt that if you're messing about with a Hack. :hysterical:

Sometimes an outside view is needed.

Note: this was resolved with an upgrade/install of DP4.

Has anyone managed to get Sequoia to boot to desktop on an HP laptop with Skylake CPU and 520 graphics spoofed to Kabylake?   There appears to be something blocking or possibly not loading when transitioning to the desktop and neither a clean install nor upgrade/install resolves the issue.  Note that the current config boots Catalina through Sonoma without hanging at login.

In as much as there are web references to the (after login) hang experienced by real mac users, none of the proposed solutions have worked. So the issue with hackintosh may be due to a different cause such as config.plist configuration.

Incidently, am wondering why the lapic kernel flag does not function to the extent that it is necessary to use the cpus=1 in kernel args in orderfor the boot to not hang with HP hardware.

Regarding SMCProcessor.kext,  since Ventura beta 3, booting the HP laptop with this kext causes KP and it has been necessary to use FakeSMC and related kexts to recognize processor when booting with either Clover or Open Code.

After considerable research I have drawn a blank to solve the boot hang issue, and since many of you have significantly more experience than me with boot issues, can someone show me specific config.plist parameters to solve the login boot hang issue, as well as any relevant comments/observations regaring the cpus=1/lapic issue and the SMCProcesor KP issue.

Reposting the clover and open core config.plist files.

Thank you.

Can please post full installer download link for beta4?

Why can’t you get OTA automatically?

If you’re using OCLP just reverse the patches via the app reboot and then try the update in System Settings.

I don’t think this stand alone Beta is available just yet but I may be wrong.

Smooth upgrade to Sequoia Beta 4 on my HackMini8,1.  Open Core 1.0.0, no OCLP.
