Thanks,  I am now seeing this error message halfway thru the second step of the new installation:

In addition to @eSaF 's suggestions, you may need to make sure you have an active Ethernet connection during the install.

EDIT: Also, be sure to post your current EFI when requesting help.

Ethernet is active when I run ifconfig and netstat in terminal.  EFI attached.

Hi  @mboy are you try using without BlueToolFixup.kext, add -lilubetaall on boot-args and run ResetNvram before install?

Maybe you should try disable (if is possible) any wireless kext or remove IntelBTpatcher, etc....and update your OC and if you want, share your signature.

@mboy - Hi as @Max.1974 suggested, you must disable everything pertaining to OCLP that enabled Sonoma installation. To enable a successful Sequoia install try making the installation as vanilla as possible.

Also it may help to have the lilu.kext the first one in the kext tree followed by the VirtualSMC.kext, follow the kext arrangement as suggested by the OC guide.

Good luck.

@mboy

About your boot args:

  • shikigva=80 >> shiki is part of WhateverGreen since macOS 11, if you are trying to get some kind of DRM try unfairgva=6 instead
  • -amfipassbeta is for OCLP but it doens't work yet on Sequoia so it's better to remove it
  • ipc_control_port_options=0 >> idem
  • csr-active-config=0308000 >> idem, change it to 0000000.

Thank you very much for your kind sharing of your working EFI.

Unfortunately modified with your settings my LGA 775 hackintosh still got the same KP as before at macOS 15.0 beta1 but working at Sonoma 14.5 again ! My config-clover-5159,plist is attached here for your reference.

Do you have any advice to fix it ?

I saw your config.plist, are you try use -lilubetaall in boot-args?

Hi, just for feedback, I didn' t change anything on my OC EFI (main Sonoma ssd) and tried to install on my BigSur working ssd. No problems at all but (of course) GPU it's not working well since OCLP it's not ready yet. Maybe I'll find other issues but for now it seems a good result.

Cheers

Thanks because this boot args (cpus=1) did fix such a KP during booting macOS 15.0 beta1, but still waiting for update of OCLP to enable hardware accelation of RX560. Perhaps update CpuTscSync.kext can fix it too.

At last I can boot it now with poor performance due to boot args (cpus=1 -amd_no_dgpu_accel) & disable USB 2.0 at BIOS.

-lilubetaall already added in my boot args.

With thanks to @Shaneee I now have Sonoma V2.0 on my AMD rig.

Besides the obvious Wifi not working I also do not have sound which is odd.

Have not seen this message in a very long time. Reminder on how to fix?

Others may be able to debug CLOVER EFI with just EFI, but for me, I need to see the Kexts folders, too.  If you haven't figured it out yet and still need help, please share your entire EFI.

EDIT: @jsl2000 I'm a little rusty when reviewing CLOVER config.plist, but I don't see your -lilubetaall arg.  Are you posting your current config.plist when asking for help?

Thanks for you and PG7 who advised add cpus=1 to boot-args which fixed such a KP.

Currently I can boot with OpenCore (boot args: cpus=1 -amd_no_dgpu_accel) now.

@jsl2000 Interesting.  I noticed in your CLOVER config.plist that you have boot-arg rtcfx-exclude=00-FF.  If you are using RTCMemoryFixup.kext, excluding the entire 00-FF range will break power management.  You should never be excluding the entire 00-FF range with RTCMemoryFixup.kext.  You would be better to use CLOVER's RTCFix option or implementing your own RTC SSDT patch.

Are you using RestrictEvents.kext? This kext usually removes the memory missconfiguration warning.

... and read starting here.

Good afternoon everyone, I succeeded patching the BCM94360NG on Sequoia. The only thing not working at the moment is AMFIPass.kext, which I replaced temporarily with amfi=0x80 boot-arg.

For following the thread, you can check here: https://macos86.it/topic/6464-sonoma-os-wi-fi-is-back/?do=findComment&comment=148698
