@robi62 Just to clarify, you have the exact same laptop as Stefanalmare with the exact same BIOS version and configuration, and you experience the kp when you use Stefanalmare's exact same EFI booting the exact same version of macOS?

Is not the same laptop. I think @chris1111 has the same. This doesn't matter. What matters is that if you receive an EFI you must personalise it for your hardware. First you need to boot! Take out all fancy things, keep the important stuf and try to boot. After that try all things one by one according, like I said before, to your hardware.

you are right there i managed to make it boot to installer he reaches the menu but after a few second it reboots

I had to disable mimo to make it boot.

It takes trial and effort some are easier than other I can boot with my efi Sonoma Ventura working like a beauty but when i try Sequoia i cant ever reach the installer menu ...

Im not entirerly sure if it is worth to install Sequoia in such a old laptop but then you really want to succeed .

I rememeber my first hackintosh was with Atom cpu os snow. omg  those where the days

What if you remove the amfi=0x80 boot-arg and use the Amfi.kext instead?

amfi=0x80 boot-arg + amfi.kext in the same time is used by OCLP in some genuine Mac's. I had troubles on some rigs installing Sequoia until I applyed the both. It is not a mistake. It is a solution.

What's this boot-arg for?

root-dmg=file:///BaseSystem/BaseSystem.dmg

Isn't this for installation only?

Wow It's Been A L O N G Time Since I've Seen That boot-arg

Was A Chameleon Boot-arg Back In The Day

Realy old boot-arg :)

"god and the way of the hack is inscrutable,
everything is possible at launch"

I just want to absolve a ssdt-gpu-spoof, but it can't fake dev id!  The Navi 21/23 hdmi works, the PCI list is also fine, but the radeon hardware identifiers remain 743f, neither 7340 nor 731b wants to come in, and VRAM is 4MB and kext does not load!  of course, I know that success does not depend only on this, RX6400 isn't supported!

I'm still trying to inject in preboot with the grub/ command and linux driver inject (the quote above can be used again)

New SkyWalk for Sequoia is in the OCLP Repo.  If you're running with an older Skywalk kext, this might explain any Wi-Fi issues after patching with OCLP.

@robi62 How have you been downloading sequoia-development source for your Sequoia OCLP patching?

Well latest one was the one with patches for metal for haswell

The one you need internet to download components

@AlfredoM "EnableForAll" and the other Quirks are not from the official OpenCore boot mager but from the modded version by btwise. So you need to use the modded version and update the config.plist.

PS: Updating the modded version of OpenCore with files from the official version will result in the quirks of the modded version not working, since the code required to run these quirks is not included.

Well, I my Laptop requires 30+ kexts to work, so in my case I still need -lilubetaall.

Hello.
I don't know why I also have these messages in my boot:

00:000 00:000 OCS: No schema for EnableForAll at 0 index, context <Quirks>!

00:000 00:000 OCS: No schema for EnableForAll at 6 index, context <Quirks>!

00:000 00:000 OCS: No schema for SkipCustomEntryCheck at 12 index, context <Boot>!

04:796 00:002 AAPL: #[EB|H:IS] 0

I don't remember using patched OC.
Is it possible to just edit the config.plist to get rid of these errors?

Thank you!

I just had to post about this.

As I previously reported that 'Hand Off' to iPhone was only achievable by USB cable connection and not Wireless as it does in Sonoma with both types of connection.

With the newly released Skywalk kext, wireless 'Hand Off' to iPhone is now working splendid. As an avid user of video calling, this is a tremendous update.

Big thanks and kudos to the OCLP devs. :thumbsup_anim:

@asapreta if you are using the OpenCore official version you should remove the entries from the config file. If using OCAT just make sure you have not defined the modded OC profile in there, otherwise the entries would not go away.
