Max.1974
Hi @deeveedee let me ask you, im not use OCLP, and now both RE works, normal kext and Lorys89 kext. So im use SIP 0xA87 (is recommend by Slice) and in Clover im not find SBM (SecureBootModel) (sorry if I miss something). So SIP need activated to receive Updates? Im disable my Intel BT kext and works fine. After that im just enable again. Works with SIP partially Thanks.
deeveedee
@Max.1974 I set SIP and SecureBootModel based on my security preferences, not because they are needed or not needed for macOS updates. If you are satisfied with your partially disabled SIP, then you don't need to change anything. As far as I know, CLOVER does not offer a way to configure SecureBootModel. SecureBootModel is an OpenCore attribute. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. EDIT: For more information about SIP, read this. For more information about SecureBootModel, read this. notobo
Everything works. Speed almost same as Monterey. No special tuning. OCLP only for Intel Graphics.

Max.1974
@Slice I'm well aware of your "love" for Open Core and Acidanthera, so your use of words like "Useless" and "nonsense" doesn't surprise me. I'm disapointed that CLOVER and Open Core can't coexist without hating each other, since I love both boot loaders and both teams. I agree that T2 is used as part of the SecureBoot process on real Macs that have T2, but don't agree that integrity verification of macOS provided with Open Core is "Useless." Forgive me for wanting to research this further before I accept your "Useless" proclamation. I'll take your words with a grain of salt and report back after I've learned more. EDIT: So that I don't clutter this thread, I will continue my SecureBoot research here. Edited March 28 by deeveedee

AlfredoM
Question to @chris1111 about USB WiFi adapter. Is there already a solution so that you can use e.g. TP Link T9UH USB WiFi adapter with Sonoma 14.4.1. I just tried the last version V16, kexts and config.plist entries also come in, but OC doesn't boot. If I set "false" for these two kexts "RtWlanU.kext" and "RtWlanU1827.kext" in the config.plist, OC then boots normally again. It would be nice if I could still use this TP Link T9UH on my Hackintosh. The device works perfectly under Ventura even with the ac WiFi standard. Thanks for the tips, greetings Alfredo Update Date 29.03.24 I have solved the problem and it now works perfectly with the latest version V.16 of the WiFi USB from @chris1111 I had a few troublemakers in OC - Kext (old referenced Kext that was still set to "true"). And in my router (Deutsche Fritz!Box-Cable 6600) I also accidentally blocked my Hacki in the network. I didn't seem to be concentrating properly at work last night. Now others can also use this WiFi USB (BigSur) for Sonoma 14.4.1 if you have compatible WiFi USB adapters. Why my Broadcom WiFi doesn't work on my Hacki despite IOSkywalkerFamily.kext and the IO802NetworkFamily.kext in OCLP 1.4.2 is still a mystery to me. Just as the IOSkywalkerFamily.kext is written as "true" in the OC's config.plist, the OC does not boot. Well, now I can, even though my Hacki is always connected to the LAN, I can still use the TP Link T9UH WiFi-USB adapter so that it doesn't lie useless in the closet. I had same problem and used mentioned kexts Good luck.. just trying to help mate

iaihc
I am a Chinese user and I am not proficient in using English. I am a Chinese user and I am not proficient in using English. During the installation process, when installing Sonoma 14.41, some machines may restart indefinitely, but the specific reason is unclear. When installing 13.6.6 using the same configuration of EFI, everything was fine again. The specific reason is very confusing. I believe that the EFI file I configured is compatible and complete. Although this conceptual problem may arise, there are indeed some machines that may have it.

Also furnishing your profile with the specs of your machine would also be very helpful. See here how to add your Specs. 1

Then you will be presented with 2 options plus Exit. Any problems let me know. Good luck. OC-Legacy Patcher Downloader.dmg.zip 2

miliuco
@eng_redaesm Developers link, get OpenCore-Patcher.app (GUI). https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/actions/runs/8326849351 @eSaF has posted the script by @LAbyOne , it works very well but I am not comfortable with a shared app on InsanelyMac whose code is not accessible. It's just a personal opinion. 4
