Crucial Ram for Intel NUC

Hello

i need help.. i have intel nuc i5 10I5FNH 2,5; i would like to buy this ram Crucial CT2K32G4S266M and i would like to know if someone use same ram on Intel nuc and/or if i change hackintos os in linux/windows if they work? what is main diferent beetwen CT2K32G4S266M (supports 2666Mhz) and CT2K32G4SFD832A (supports 3200MHz) what else is differnet? Also if that Ram work on my Intel nuc (CT2K32G4S266M)? 

please help and tnx for any feedback

I have the same ram and i would like to upgrade on 64 GB, but an error appears in the system report in the EFI folder; my you know why i get this error.. is it from ram, ssd or something else (samsung ssd pro 980 and i will replace it with wd black sn850x); somewhere i was reading that this error comes from bad choose ram

hi hi:) sorry for my answer delay:) i will try, but overall i think that on linux and W will work ok.... I mean, that MACos is more delicate about hardware:(

Yes Apple is choosy about RAM when it comes to Apple computers, for example if you decide to add RAM to your iMac it's best to choose your RAM carefully but when you are talking about Hackintoshes the RAM usually isn't going to be an issue in most cases.

I've used Crucial RAMs on many iMacs from 2010 to 2020 and Mac minis up to 2012 models and in many of those machines I've used Crucial modules without having any issues, so in general using Crucial RAMs isn't going to be an issue on your Nuc hack.

Hi, @Cyberdevs thanks for your feedback.. now is more clear:)

i tried to find explanation about different between this two rams, but unsuccessful. also i wrote on Crucial support but "nada" :( on the end i bought CT2K32G4SFD832A.. i didnt have time for replace it, because i would like replace disc in the same time... i will and let know how it work 

 

 

@Cyberdevs, are you use Intel nuc 10gen ( i use nuc10i5fhn with eGpu)? if yes, can you share your EFI folder please:)
