jrhende Posted March 18 Share Posted March 18 Hi all, Can't get Radeon Pro WX4100 to boot on a MSI Z490 Gaming Edge WiFi MOBO in Monterey. The card works in an HP 8300 under Monterey. Only can get UHD 630 iGPU to work. When trying iGPU and dGPU the system takes an extra 30 seconds to boot and the dGPU screen is stuck at the Apple logo. When using -wegnoegpu it boots faster. Any pointers on how to solve this. I've enabled debug for WEG and used debug kext but never see anything. I'm actually running 14.3.1 with the iGPU but stepped back to see if issue is with OSX version since I figured out it won't work under Ventura in the HP 8300. This is due to the Polaris drivers require AVX 2.0 starting in Ventura and there isn't a simple work around. Initially got the system installed using an EFI from someone with a similar MOBO (but slightly different). Tried iMac19.2, iMac20.1 and iMacPro1,1.
