miliuco
@rubenmr ¡Al fin! igfxmpc is a WhateverGreen boot arg that increases max pixel clock (as an alternative to patching CoreDisplay.framework). I don’t see the exact relationship with your issue but looking for a fix I found posts from users whose laptop screen was black (external screen working) due to something related to the refresh rate and this boot arg had fixed the problem. Enjoy! 1
Max.1974
Thanks my Master @miliuco !!! I'm also going to test it on my Lenovo Intel UHD 620 Kaby Lake because the HDMI can only work with the lid closed. Thanks a lot!!
miliuco
@Max.1974 This sometimes is a different thing. There are laptops that drive external HDMI display only with lid closed. Even there are models that only do it when plugged to the power. Try yours and I hope this boot arg also fix your issue.

Max.1974
Hello everyone, taking advantage of some finer adjustments, I got HDMI recognized and two screens, with the lid open and the best, 4K on Youtube 2160p60 without glitches or freezing. Very interesting that -igfxmlr gave me a problem, not boot on LCD normally, and without this boot-arg it natively gave 4K, like Ultrawide Monitor 3440x1440 and 60Hz. Both screens works together.
