It's grub, but with suse's gfxboot installed and a custom gfxboot message I put together so I could have the higher res and colors and animation and such. I know the vid quality is terrible, shot it with my camera phone, looks stunning in person, very clean and clear, doesnt look choppy or stretched, and the windows/apple/linux/core duo logos all look clean and clear as well.

<- this guy, <3's grub/gfxboot. :P

If there's enough popularity or demand, I might write a full walkthrough on how everyone can create and customize their own and get it all dialed in and working with whatever os's they want to install.

that is a kick ass boot loader, what is it and how did you do it?

I tried to matched up the colour schemes etc.... this is on a fairly fresh install since I wiped out the previous one a couple weeks ago, and now I'm back.

Thoughts? criticisms? kudo's? Complaints?

I notice image shack really scaled it.. its 1600x1200 - saving up for a nice widescreen lcd..
