If you have a huge PNG icon collection (like me ) get pixadex and convert png to icon format, if not, download mac icons from DevArt, interfacelift etc etc. Also, if your drives are NTFS you wil have to refer to a guide to change them. If you need the guide ask me! thx for introducing interfacelift to me , i just downloaded some icons and changed them with CandyBay.. now it seems like this , but i cant change the icons for C or D partition Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
samee Posted September 10, 2006 Share Posted September 10, 2006 If the drive is FAT 32 this is what you need to do! 1.> right click the drive, select 'get info' 2.> open finder and navigate to the icon file. 3.> copy the icon file (ctrl + c). 4.> select the get info window, click the icon on the upper left of the window, until it show a border. 5.> now paste the icon file (ctrl + v). I just would have liked more brushed metal but alas. Anyway.
