Yes, for me with device-id: 43DC and 4464 the system reboots..

With Device-id: 4488, which is BCM4377b, the system boots, but it takes a while to display an image, and then I see this:

But it doesn't load the driver......But it is very entertaining to test  😆

This is the code in my SSDT:

It's possible you do me a great favor for test? I have a real  MacBookAir9,1, and if is possible for you make a SSDT separate to try use on my desktop. I can try boot with SMBIOS from MBA 9,1.

I can install Sonoma beta 2 OTA update on my iMac20,2 although I haven't registered a Developer Account

FYI: Apple no longer limits access to Developer Beta OTAs exclusively for accounts enrolled in Apple Developer Program (99 USD per membership); meaning any active Apple ID now have access to both Public Beta AND Developer Beta for free (post agreement to Apple's ToS on Apple Beta Software Program, of course). Apple officially announced this change sometime during WWDC week, more details here: https://developer.apple.com/support/compare-memberships/

Okay. But I am not logged in with my Apple ID and I didn't register the machine for Apple Beta stuff – at least not recently and not for Sonoma. Maybe it's hadled via the MAC-Address then.

Good afternoon.

Beta2: unable to see it in Software Update, tried changing SMBIOS and SecureBootModel, enabling gatekeeper... Updated by downloading the whole installer package. Afaik, all is working fine, no clock issue (ofc no wifi).

Days ago I think someone posted the device ids of the soldered Broadcom wifi present in the Sonoma supported Macs. But I can't find it. Anyone can post them again? Thanks.

EDIT: found in a post by @acquarius13.

Is it only me, or Intel bluetooth has been taken away on beta 2?

BT works on my Fenvi T919 just no wifi since beta 1. For Intel you need to use Heliport and the itlwm.kext for wifi but it loads it has Ethernet 2

Well, for me Sonoma Beta 2 installed just fine.

But for me there were two issues:  one was Wifi, of course, and the other was my Aquantia 10Gb NIC.

A thought about Wifi:  Now that Wifi is still dead, we can be sure that the removal of the Broadcom drivers was not an oversight.  What that means, as best I can deduce, is that for Wifi, if there is a fix, it's going to be something like somebody comes up with a driver or a kext or something like an OC hack of some sort. Maybe the Chinese can come up with a card or some hardware add-on that will work, but that seems less and less likely.

However, if drivers can be written for Intel Wireless, why not for older Broadcom wireless devices?

The other issue is for the Aquantia 10 Gb NIC.  It needs a new patch.  That patch can be found on the Marvell (Aquantia) 10 Gb Ethernet support thread (towards the end of the postings).   For me, once the patch was applied, my Aquantia started working again.

I have fixed ForceAquantiaEthernet quirk on OC master. Credit goes to @Shikumo. :)

Hello friends

I have a problem but ONLY in Sonoma Beta1 and Beta2
with the "FL1100 USB 3.0 Host Controller".
Apparently not supported.

This controller is on my MSI B250 Mortal Motherboard.
In Ventura and Monterey, the device works perfectly.

I'll try to explain the symptoms.

So if I plug a USB device into one of the USB ports, it is also displayed in the Hackintoshtool and in the system properties under USB.

I think it's connected then. BUT I can't see the USB device in Finder, Disk Utility or anywhere else.

What can be the cause?

Before there are any questions about kextes such as USBInjectall and USPORT or USBMap, I only have the USBinjectall.kext active in

Ventura and Monterey etc. and all available USB2 and USB3 ports work.

Thanks for help tips on this.

So I've been at this for the past week or so on two of my systems (10900K w/ Z490 Aorus Ultra and Coffee Lake Acer Nitro 5). For whatever reason, Sonoma just refuses to boot with OC 0.9.3 despite Ventura working fine on both. Not quite sure what the issue is since everything kext-wise has been fully updated on both EFIs.
