Ciao a tutti,
sono finalmente riuscito ad installare il nuovo macOS Ventura.

Siccome ci ho tribolato un po' voglio rendere pubbliche quelle che sono state le mie difficoltà cosicché possano magari essere utili per qualcuno che dovesse trovarsi nella mia situazione. Seguite la guida Dortania secondo il vostro hardware https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/

NON è una guida, solo alcuni suggerimenti.
Il mio HW: (quello in firma) MB ASRock H170M-ITX/DL | CPU i5 6600 | IGPU HD 530 | RAM 2x8 GB DDR4 2133 MHz | WI-FI + BT BCM94352HMB 

Uno dei principali problemi è che le iGPU Skylake non sono supportate da Ventura quindi vanno simulate come se fossero Kaby Lake (le più simili). Infatti una delle prime conseguenze di questo problema è il riconoscimento della scheda grafica integrata, nel mio caso iGPU è HD530. Quindi il collegamento HDMI al monitor non me lo faceva riconoscere dicendomi "monitor sconosciuto". Fondamentale è l'accoppiata di platform id e Device id: nel mio caso:
AAPL,ig-platform-id 00001E59 

device-id 12590000 

Il resto delle impostazioni copiatele da qui:

L'altro importante problema era il wifi e bluetooth che con la mia scheda BCM94352HMB bisognava cambiare qualcosa rispetto a Big Sur. Di seguito tutti i Kext necessari:

Ricordatevi di usare le versioni più recenti.

Ricordatevi di utilizzare GenSMBIOS per ottenere i dati generici da inserire in PlatformInfo. Nel mio caso ho considerati iMac18,1.
In ogni caso seguite le varie guide che ci sono su YouTube, basta fare una ricerca, in ogni caso si basano su Dortania che vi ho detto prima.
Non usate OpenCore Configurator ma molto meglio ProperTree.
Vi allego l'EFI naturalmente! 😉

Ciao... perdona la mia lingua, non parlo italiano, Google mi sta aiutando 😄..

 

Per anni ho avuto un NAS in casa con UNRAID, ma ho aggiornato l'hardware e adesso uso da un giorno il vecchio NAS con MacOS Ventura.

È un i3 6100 con un MSI z170A Gaming M3.

Ho usato la tua configurazione dell'iGPU HD530 e funziona bene ..

Ma sto usando l'uscita DVI-D della scheda madre, e talvolta lo sfarfallio dell'immagine, non è molto pronunciato ma quando l'iGPU viene utilizzato in modo intensivo, questi difetti si verificano sul monitor

 

La tua scheda madre ha anche DVI, se hai provato quella connessione, funziona bene per te?

Ciao @PoMpIs, non ho mai provato la mia connessione DVI perchè ho sempre usato HDMI e funziona bene, per questo non ti so aiutare, mi dispiace.

Nuovo aggiornamento: la configurazione presentata all'inizio funziona bene fino alla versione 13.3.1a.

Ho aggiornato successivamente alla versione 13.4 e il bluetooth ha smesso di funzionare.

Infatti con questa vesrione uno degli aggiornamenti riguarda proprio il bluetooth, per rendere la sua connessione più rapida.

È evidente che qualcosa di importante è cambiato perchè al momento non c'è verso di farlo funzionare.

Se dovessi riuscirci, lo segnalerò immediatamente.

@Niko NDP I took a quick look at your EFI.  I'm not sure if this explains the OC version problem that you are seeing, but you are enabling two HFSPlus.efi drivers:

  • HFSPlus.efi
  • OpenHFSPlus.efi

You should only have HFSPlus.efi enabled.  I would suggest that you remove OpenHfsPlus.efi from your EFI/OC/Drivers folder and remove it from your UEFI > Drivers in your config.plist.

@Niko NDP Also, I'm not sure if this explains the issues you're seeing with Bluetooth, but it appears to me that you have multiple USB mapping solutions.  Your config.plist enables USBInjectAll.kext, USBPorts.kext and USBToolbox.kext.  To my knowledge, these are all different USB mapping solution and you should be using only one.  Since Bluetooth relies on USB, it's very possible that this is causing problems for you.

By the way, this is why I don't like the Open Core configurators.  You are not alone with problems like this.  The configurators don't seem to have any problem with enabling multiple kexts that are unnecessary.  If the kexts are in the OC/Kexts folder, it's too easy to enable all of the kexts.  I prefer to create and maintain my OC EFIs without configurators (just my preference).  If you continue to use a configurator, make sure that you inspect your configuration carefully.

Dovresti avere solo HFSPlus.efi abilitato. Ti suggerirei di rimuovere OpenHfsPlus.efi dalla tua cartella EFI/OC/Drivers e di rimuoverlo da UEFI > Drivers nel tuo config.plist.

 

Done, nothing has changed.

If you see above, in my second post, I wrote that USBInjectAll.kext should be removed.

I also tried to remove USBToolbox.kext but the usb ports don't work.

After making your changes, are you resetting NVRAM before booting macOS.

 

Also, you might want to update the EFI that you have attached to Post #1.  I reviewed your posted EFI and assumed it was the one you were recommending.

 

I have never used USBToolbox.kext, but I think that USBToolbox.kext and UTBMap.kext must be installed together (you need both of them).
