My Radeon HD 7770 is quite laggy on Monterey (I think acceleration isn't working properly), though it works perfectly on Windows on the same PC, here is my specs:

Motherboard: GA-Z77-DS3H

CPU: Core i5-2400

Video card: AMD Radeon HD 7770 Saphire @ PCI-E x4

Monitor: BenQ 1920x1080 @ DVI

Projector: Vankyo V630 1920x1080 @ HDMI

Storage: NVMe 256Gb @ PCI-E x16

Bootloader: OpenCore 0.8.4 (also, Clover)

Is there any way to make my HD 7770 work faster or are there any budget cards that can be easily configured for Monterey?

Thank you very much

I recently replaced a GT730 with an MSI RX 460 2GB I got really cheap off fleabay and works really fine on Catalina, Big Sur and Monterey (on the same system).

Can Decode & Encode both H.264 and HEVC with FCPX....obviously not as fast as Premium AMD GPU's.

Not too cheap but the AMD Radeon Pro WX 4100 works fine on Monterey and Ventura. If you can find it.

You can find them on eBay for less than 100 Bucks. I have one as a spare part (in case of an emergency)  and I confirm functionality on Monterey and Ventura,
