Dmitry R
Hi guys, I have Monterey 12.6.3 install with clover r5151 and with the latest applealc.kext and whatevergreen.kext There I have biostar radeon rx550 4GB lexa core gpu with spoofed device-id 0x67ff Everything works just fine I have native graphics with metal accelaration. However no hdmi audio. empty list in settings/audio/output ioreg -rxn AppleGFXHDADriver | grep vendorcodecID gives me this: "vendorcodecID" = 0x1002aa01 Hackintool also shows this audio adapter like a good one I attached my /efi/clover folder as well as ioreg and some screenshots Any help how to fix that would be very much appreciated Thank you, Dmitry iMac.ioreg.zip CLOVER.zip
miliuco
@Dmitry R This code in Devices >> Properties fixed this issue for me. check the PCI path to your audio device (the one on the motherboard, not the AMD), it can be different check your layout-id (I have 7, yours can be different) probably you have to enable Audio >> Inject from NO to the right layout-id.

Not needed at all. The kext AppleGFXHDA works if AppleHDA will not attached to the device.

I've just going to check that way, but after reading your post decided to try voodoohda way. May be it will work for me. Anyway if there is something else to try it would be very nice. Dmitry R
Finally I've got it working 🙂 As far as it is a proxmox vm with passed through gpu, to make hdmi sound work I have to pass through all functions at once No extra patching is required during boot a monitor without audio should be connected to the dp of the gpu after succsessful booting any gpu connector can be used to connect a device with speakers
