deeveedee
I have switched from EFICheckDisabler.kext to RestrictEvents.kext for my HackBookPro6,2 running Big Sur 11.7.1 (booting with OC 0.8.7 and patched with OCLP 0.5.2). I think that RestrictEvents.kext is supposed to block EFI check, but I'm not sure that it is working properly, because IORegistryExplorer shows AppleLPC loading/attached to Device LPCB. I have provided IORegistryExplorer screen shots below. Does RestrictEvents.kext block EFI check and if so, should AppleLPC still be loading? Thank you. FirstTimeCustomac
Isn't AppleLPC needed with older CPUs for proper powermanagement?

deeveedee
I feel like an idiot. The test for this was simply to temporarily disable RestrictEvents.kext. With RestrictEvents.kext disabled, com_apple_driver_eficheck loads. Spoiler I can mark this solved.
