@fernando.c.neves   Thanks for posting.  I wish SetApfsTrimTimeout had worked for me.  I did experiment with SetApfsTrimTimeout on my HackBookPro6,2 and didn't get a reliable/consistent improvement on my old rig.  I found that I needed to change my SSD as I noted here.

To work acceleration in Intel Iris Graphics 6100 with Ventura 13.0.1, you need to install OCLP 0.5.2 with Root Patches. => OpenCore-Patcher.app (GUI).zip

@diamondhackintosh See this OCLP issue (and maybe other issues, too). If you're using MP5,1 or MP6,1 for your SMBIOS MacModel, there are still issues to be resolved for Ventura.  I am able to install and run Ventura on my HackBookPro6,2, but OCLP support for Ventura is still a work-in-progress.  My best OCLP experience is still with Big Sur.

@diamondhackintosh You are welcome.  Also see the warning in the OCLP 0.5.2 Release Notes here.  The OCLP 0.5.2 Release Notes indicate that "Other machines such as 2008-2012 Mac Pros and non-Metal Graphics Card machines are still in active development.... Stay on macOS Monterey until the Patcher has been updated to support your model."

I'll wait until that day

@fernando.c.neves Posting Ventura Beta installation status in multiple threads is a great way to boost one's reputation.  Great strategy! 😂

Joking aside, are you experiencing any issues with running Ventura on your old rig?  Is Ventura your preferred macOS for your MacBook Pro, or do you prefer Big Sur or Monterey instead.  Thanks!

Simple, I don't care about my reputation points in this forum, I'm a member since 2009. Just share the status of OCLP and new beta's.

Installing Hackintoshes Is my 24x7 Work here in Brazil. My site => www.netdokey.com

And yes, i'm experience some issues with Ventura in my old MacBook Pro so I install every beta to see if slowing down Safari navigation will be solved. I do prefer Monterey but I use Ventura Beta's in my MacBook Pro Retina 13'' Early 2015 with OCLP 0.5.2 Official.

@fernando.c.neves Definitely not questioning your contributions.  Please accept my apology if I offended you.  Thanks for the quick response.  I continue to run Big Sur as my baseline on my HackBookPro6,2 and I continue to monitor OCLP updates for both Monterey and Ventura.  It is amazing that we're able to maintain operation of newer macOSes on these old hacks.  The OCLP team is doing a great job.

I recognize that OCLP is designed for Real Macs and offers no official support for hacks.  With that said, when running OCLP 0.5.2 on my HackBookPro6,2, OCLP detects my hack as "Latitude E6410."

Before applying patches with OCLP 0.5.2, I open OCLP Settings and change the SMBIOS MacModel to MacBookPro6,2.

After this change, OCLP 0.5.2 applies patches without issues.

EDIT: As noted here, OCLP 0.5.2 successfully applied patches to Ventura 13.1 Beta 4 running on my hack.  As noted in OCLP release notes, Ventura is still a work-in-progress for MBP6,2.  I am running Ventura and OCLP as I continue to test, but Big Sur remains my preferred macOS on this old hack.

Fresh install OCLP 0.5.3 build from source.

Re-Patch of OCLP 0.5.3 and new EFI.

Notable change in speed of Ventura 13.1 Beta 4 (22C5059b) with OCLP 0.5.3 build from source.

Now my Real Mac (MacBookPro12,1) MacBook Pro Retina 13'' Early 2015 is notable faster then before. With Safari and Chrome Canary, Youtube with 1440 Resolution and 2160 (30fps) is smooth Full and windowed mode. Is faster then Monterey I guess too.

For those who doesn't know how to build from source => OpenCore-Patcher 0.5.3 build from source.app.zip

After change your EFI and Re-Patch with OCLP 0.5.3, please share if your Real Mac became faster than before with Ventura 13.1 Beta 4 (22C5059b).

I applied post-install patches with OCLP 0.5.3 (now Released here) and am finding that my HackBookPro6,2 is having boot issues in late stages of booting Monterey.  Has anyone else observed problems after applying the OCLP 0.5.3 post-install patches?

Note that I am running a hack here (not a real Mac) with SMBIOS MacModel MacBookPro6,2.

I am going to test a bit more and I may be reverting to OCLP 0.5.2.

Boot Issues
