nexusblue Posted June 27, 2022 Share Posted June 27, 2022 hi i wanted to install high sierra because i have gpu gt 710 which is not supported to monterey. but in high sierra, i have problem that i couldnt find the reason. when i install high sierra installation on 4-3 minutes it goes to black screen and suddenly resets. the point is sometimes, sata hdd can be not seen by BIOS after this installation. when i looked ia.log everything seems good.i am using imacpro1,1 SMBIOS. just i saw : Warning: Couldn't find boardID, chipID, & ECID in new namespace, falling back just i can see that i am uploading EFI folder. i wonder the what can be the root cause or problem. to upload EFI folder, i deleted appleALC.kext and tools and also updated config.plist file. illdev Posted July 27, 2022 Share Posted July 27, 2022 What is your hardware? I made the observation that most modern Clover versions don't work anymore, despite saying so. Older versions work just fine with the same settings, I'd try using a clover version from the year 2017/2018/2019 and see if that helped. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
