Hi ☺️

a quick question...

Is it normal for all those GPUs to appear in ioregistryexplorer with SMBios MacPro7.1?

Shouldn't there be only one?

Thank you very much 🙇‍♂️

That isn't on the GPU, that's just the AGPMController, which has a list of GPUs it supports for that SMBIOS. You need to check the first display device on the GPU itself in order to determine if your GPU is being controlled by the AGPM Controller.

Something like this? Does this mean that the GPU is handled by AGPM controller? Thanks.

Spoiler

I don't have that on the first GPU device 😦

I only get that related to AGPM in my Alder lake system:

😪 It has a solution?

If it's not being loaded on the first GPU display device then the AGPM Controller isn't controlling the GPU. You need to create an injector kext with your SMBIOS and GPU device info. You can check out OC Gen-X app that has a feature to generate a AGPMInjector.kext.

@Pavo Thank you very much 🤗 ... the GPU is now cooler, and at load it is about 10 degrees less than before

And not all those device-ids appear in ioregistry, only one appears, which is the one of my GPU (73bf)

Now it's alright:

The solution has been fast.. I thank you again🙇‍♂️

@D3v1L I don't use WEG either, but I think that the power management of the GPU is good to have active, mine is now colder and starts the fans sooner🤷‍♂️

Thanks to the hard work of the OC Devs, these incremental updates are proving to be an easy task of late. No problem with this one, done just under 30 minutes. :thumbsup_anim:

Run the macOSDeveloperBetaAccessUtility to re-enroll your device and it will show up.

Not working for me. It shows the new beta to download but when I select DL it disappears and shows Mac is up to date. I even changed smbios to 7.1 from 1.1 and still nothing.

Try iMac18,3 instead, or another model that does not use the T2 chipset.

It might be because of BluetoolFixup. disable it in config, reboot the system and try again.
