Based on your previous Alder Lake? Yes, but removing things 😄... my alder lake in the B660 was more complicated having it with a 130Mhz BCLK... this one works practically with OpenCore and little else, I have generated some SSDT quickly and that's it... 🤷♂️ I will have to look deeper if it can be improved and adjusted more, but for now everything works 👌

Maybe booting safe mode + verbose @cyrhex can have screen and add the boot arg or directly do the root patch. To revert the csrutil command can you boot to recovery? ( Forgive the small offtopic to explain ) I like Hackintosh ever since apple switched to intel, my first hack was in 2006.... But my main hobby was always overclocking, I've been competing on Hwbot for quite some time. So, I have this processor with a custom RL, and yesterday I delid it and put liquid metal thermal paste (conductonaut) on it.. I leave you captures of the before and after in windows... now with the delid this computer is a true wonder Before delid: After delid: And here some tests at 5.7Ghz P-cores and 4.5Ghz E-Cores, uncore 4900Mhz at 1.403v by offset an LLC level 6 and I have also adjusted several more things in Digi+ ( IA DC, IA AC, VCCSA, VCCIO, IMC VDD ) And hitting it hard in OCCT AVX2 to check stability: Pretty impressive reduction in temps! I did a similar thing with a 6700k. Switched out the tim but kept the same heat spreader. Are you using the original heat spreader or is the cpu a naked die?

No, I use its IHS, but it's not sealed, I clean it, I put the conductonaut in the DIE, then inside the IHS, I put it in the socket and when I close it it's fixed... then I put the conductonaut between the IHS and the RL EK block and that's it... and that looks great 👌

According to the past experience after OCLP patch it always got full update (around 11GB) instead of incremental update (around 2~3 GB). My FX-6300 hackintosh can be wakeUp from S3 sleep, but its RX-560 framebuffer seemed incorrect and always got unusable desktop. How to fix these issues ? Derty
From https://www.iphonetricks.org/ Apple has just seeded macOS Ventura RC 2 build number 22A380 and pulled the initial macOS 13 Release Candidate (22A379) version, only 4 days before the announced public release date Monday, October 24. macOS Ventura RC 2 Problems This second Release Candidate version proves that there’s time to report and fix some last minute bugs before the public release: Tip: For more known issues please check the macOS 13 RC 2 release notes. 1. Continuity camera not working. 2. Stage Manager greyed out in Settings. 3. USB-C display not working. 4. System Settings app is still glitchy. 5. Add Network Printer not working in some cases, because it’s impossible to scroll to the end of the list. 6. Accessibility requests might pop-up after each restart. 7. WindowsServer crashes can be expected in this version. Reported by GenErik. 8. "I add... it doesn't format in exfat" 5. To be updated! miliuco
@cyrhex Is it black screen or system hangs? Do you see the login screen? Is it OCLP with Ventura? Do you need OCLP for the Pentium G5400? Is it not Coffee Lake?

I doubt tyrone @iphonetricks.org knows what he's talking about. The issues he's reporting are not universal. On my X299 with RC2 22A380: - Continuity Camera is working - Stage manager is working - USB-C Display is working - Format Exfat is working ( only with Non APFS drives) - Did not find glitches on system settings. I’m not sure if non AVX2 CPUs with Polaris cards need CryptexFixup.kext. Try to solve your issue in this way: add -amd_no_dgpu_accel in boot args, rebbot and install the root patch (thanks @anerik70). Another possible way is to boot into safe mode and to do the root patch.

miliuco
5 hours ago, cyrhex said: how to boot in safemode using OC -x doesn't work? Press shift + enter keys when macOS entry is selected in the OC picker. When you are in safe mode: - get latest OCLP build, do not compile it by yourself, get the compiled app from Actions >>go to the more recent CI - Build wxPython >> download OpenCore-Patcher.app - apply the root patch selecting CryptexFixup if it isn’t selected by default and add -crypt_force_avx to boot args as @jsl2000 says. 5 hours ago, anerik70 said: Fixed now.
