I'm stuck in "IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLock.../gIOLockState (3...". I know that is not native supported, but I can't even start the installation to later patch with OCLP 0.5 ... (My conf already works with Monterey...) Yes, I can boot to desktop of HD4600 before patching by OCLP 0.5.0. May I advice that boot with -wegnoegpu & BIOS set IGPU default to get to desktop for patching.

In Ventura the Metal API same as Monterey, but OpenCL closes at gathering system information, it is obvious that in Ventura my HD4600 isn´t working properly, despite it recognizes the monitor info correctly, and in system information, also the HD4600 1536 MB, it says Metal 2, but really there isn´t acceleration. I attached a short video of Ventura. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1J4GM4ILJBigRr54VbpfEF3ruXRWwjQiK/view?usp=sharing Hi @jsl2000 Can you help me with this? Thank you. Matgen84
Update to Ventura Beta 8 like a charm (Z390 Aorus Master, SMBIOS Imac19,1) Clover 5149 commit dd0beb2 😊 Only strange thing: slow wifi speed (434Mbits instead of 867Mbits). Maybe a temporary network problem.
Naki
Quick question, if I may - while macOS Ventura works just fine on my Intel Haswell laptop, it fails on a desktop PC with older Intel Ivy Bridge, i.e. it showed the Apple logo repeatedly (boot loop) when I tried the first few Betas. Now that Betas 7 & 8 are out, is there any reasons to believe Beta 7 and/or 8 could work on Ivy Bridge CPU too now? (The Ivy Bridge CPU in question is a Core i5 with 4 cores/4 threads, no HT.)

Cyberdevs
@ruslan61 You got to be doing something wrong. I installed the previous DP on my Haswell (i5 4460) rig and activated the AMD Radeon R9 270X using OCLP 0.5.0 without any issues. BUT if I set the SecureBootModel=Default i get constant reboots so I leave it to Disabled for now. I'm Suing MacPro7,1 SMBIOS. miliuco
@Cyberdevs I think OCLP 0.5.0 alpha requires SecureBootModel disabled. Setting it default breaks system boot. It's a big difference with OpenCore. Edited September 21, 2022 by miliuco

Thanks Did you do a clean install of Ventura latest Beta, if you did you probably wiped the boot files windows put on the OS X partition (it has a habit of doing just that), that's why its always best to isolate any other drive for Windows when dual booting with Windows. Try doing a Windows repair and see if that works.
