I thought that entitlements patch required either the kext -OR- the boot-arg.  Isn't the whole point of the kext to avoid the use of amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1.  Maybe I misread this?

My rig is faster when I run GB4 :)

My hackintoshs need both to work.

You try use only one of them to test.

Checking Extensions under System Information in Ventura B5 to see which kexts that are loaded, all of them says Loaded=NO, Very strange, obviously a lot of them are loaded. Anyone else that got this? Obviously only cosmetic, but strange.

It looks like this to me 😪

Yes - I thought I was the only one with that in extensions under system info-all my system kexts show not loaded-strange but as you say cosmetic

I've stopped posting to report an uneventful install.  It's just a waste of everyone's time.  But I have a quick question:  Is it still necessary to disable BlueToolFixup.kext in order to get the smaller-sized update to install?  Has a newer version of this kext made disabling unnecessary?

From where do you got OCLP Ventura-beta 0.5.0

I have a Haswell desktop and an Ivy laptop, and want to try it.

Cheers.

Updated just fine which will be the last one on this Z390 as between now and the weekend I will be upgrading to 11th Gen Components. It's not something I wanted to do at this particular time but this board has developed a power phase fault (in my very limited knowledge). It has gone from running very well to not sleeping and not turning off even with the case button, have to do it from the PSU switch at the back of the case which is a PITA. Done extensive fault finding by removing different hardware and software and nothing makes a difference, even doing it in Windows as well so that's it for this board. :cry:

Spoiler

@eSaF

So you’ll be busy for a few days setting up your new hardware 🙂

Congratulations.
When all is working, I expect a post commenting hardware components, OC and kexts configuration, macOS tuning, etc.

You are going to pick up a lot of speed on the Desktop 🚀
