Apple dropped support for Skylake graphics so why I switched off it in BIOS. Processor works fine including speedstep. iMac17,1 as a SMBIOS model is not prohibited in Ventura.
Cyberdevs
@Slice Just out of curiosity I tried booting Ventura installer using the iMac17,1 SMBIOS but it doesn't allow the installer to load neither the installed version of Ventura. I'm curious to know how is that possible to boot from an unsupported SMBIOS such as iMac17,1 because it clearly doesn't work on my end.

Matgen84
Hi all Smooth upgrade to Beta 4 (Z390 mobo, SMBIOS Imac19,1, Clover latest commit, FakeSMC latest commit too) 😊 as usual Bluetooth is not really efficiency with Fenvi T919. PoMpIs
I have updated the lenovo 520s to beta 4... This laptop is really MacOS friendly, rock solid, I never turn it off, and hasn't given any issues or crashes since beta 1 8

miliuco
Good night. Since beta 4, powerd process is getting high CPU load even disabling Bluetooth and CPU temp is about 50-60º at idle when before it was 30-40º. Trying to kill it from Activity Monitor doesn't work. Does it happens to someone else? Spoiler Edited July 28, 2022 by miliuco 1 1

miliuco
@DocXavier About powerd, I've tried changing SMBIOS (iMac19,1, iMacPro1,1, MacPro7,1). Also changing system language (>> English). Without success. Monterey works fine, it's Ventura beta 4. Qué cosa tan rara!
DocXavier
@miliuco, you are right, i's something with B4. I'm using iMacPro1,1 and works perfect on Ventura B3 and BigSur. It doesn't matter the bootloader as I have both Oc / Clover in my Hacky and same result ... Raro, raro, raro ... It could be something similar to weatherhd that broke sleep in B2. Did you do an update or a clean install?
