seanbperiod
I installed from the 10.4.7 JaS DVD successfully, then installed the Titan drivers, and now my installtion halts midway during the bootup screen. I have a Nvidia GeForce4 5200, and a northwood processor with SSE2. Is it possible to get QE/CI/OpenGL with my setup? maybe i installed something wrong? thanks for the help.. mifki
cant use titan without new kernel, semthex just made a new sse2 kernel (its still in exp. stages but it should work). seanbperiod
So i've installed the beta9 updater, which went smoothly. now i'm trying to get titan/natit working... i've searched throughout the forums, and i'm not saavy enough to understand what exactly applies to my situation.. i tried using the neopheus installer, but upon reboot my svideo tv had a blue screen then kernel panic and my monitor seemed to go into sleep mode. i disconnected my tv and rebooted, and then my monitor went black- but not in sleep mode.. so i used the uninstaller and i'm back to square one.. i tried to follow the instructions here : http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...c=32065&hl= however, i don't see how that is doing anything different than the natit installer.. any help would be greatly appreciated!! calling all fx5200 card owners - devid: 0x0322 much thanks in advance. seanbperiod
i followed the guide exactly, but it seems that i'm getting an error "can't resolve dependencies with geforce.kext" or something to that effect, and the natit.kext doesn't load. nvdaresman and many of the other nv kexts involved are having a link/load error.. I'm using the latest semthex kernel - exp6 do i need to delete the opengl.framework and replace with the official one from apple? is there a way to boot into diagnostic mode, and [ok] each step, just so i can see what other errors are occuring? they come up so fast and then the GUI appears..
