Hi everyone.

 

I have a problem restarting the computer after leaving sleep?

The first exit from sleep is usually correct, the second entry into the state of sleep lasts a very long time, the third ends with a restart.

Sometimes after the first time there is a restart.

 

My computer:

Intel i7 6700K processor

Mobo: GA-Z170X-Gaming 7

Ati Radeon Sapphire pulse 570 8GB

Ram 32GB 2800 Mgh

 

Please help. I do not know what it can be;(

I am already using SSDT-PMC.aml. but isn't that RTC error?

cpu: i7 9700K
MOBO: GIGABYTE Z390M gaming
ssd: evo 970 500G
opencore debug 0.5.6

i have a problem that it takes about 45 seconds to boot my macintosh, i think it take too long for my build ,this is my boot.log.

I think major issue is about apfs, but i dont know how to figue out.

I'm seeing the same thing as  @wangwang with 5.6 on same mobo - Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming, BIOS F8. Very slow boot, but also stuttering mouse movement once booted as well. This is with 10.15.3. I've gone back to 5.5 for now. I have enable VT-D for Parallels, which seems fine with 5.5.

Only have SSDT-PMC. No need for RTC0 or AWAC SSDT because I don't have Device (AWAC) in my DSDT.

Hi! I just got a working Hackintosh with OpenCore as bootloader. (I've only been working on it since yesterday, great learning curve btw).

 

This is my configuration:

Gigabyte Z170X-UD3

i5-6600 ( HD530) 

AMD RX 580 

Samsung SSD 970 EVO NVMe

 

When I was reading about this "new" project I was impressed about the boot time improvements over Clover. 

A the moment the boot time (from OC's boot picker to the Desktop) is about 25s ... it's high!

 

I'll attach my EFI folder. Can you help me to spot some issues with my configuration?

You have a lot of errors in config.
You don't need DSDT.

Review this guide:
https://khronokernel.github.io/Opencore-Vanilla-Desktop-Guide/config.plist/skylake.html

It should work for you.

@Andrey1970 how to skip DSDT when I want to boot windows, because I have ACPI errors on Windows boot. If I disable DSDT in config I can boot but then I lose xcpm x86PlatformPlugin.

Quick Question to anybody and probably a dumb one.

Should I still be using device rename patches in OpenCore or should I of dropped all of that a while ago?

If you read the Configuration.pdf that the devs provided, it explicitly states this should only be done as a last resort. All of these can be achieved by using a SSDT.

Update - All done and miles better and more fool me for not removing them a long time ago. It was hard reprogramming my mind from Clover to OpenCore but im getting there now.
