Yes, I did. All Hotkeys working without any problem. I am using my setup like a real Mac now.

I don't want to see the boot picker cause I have just one boot drive, here are my settings;

PollAppleHotKeys YES

ShowPicker NO (if you want to see boot entries start to click multiple times to Opt/Alt button when you saw the Motherboard Logo if doesn't work for you use ESC button)

TakeoffDelay 5000

Timeout 0

UsePicker YES

KeySupport NO

You must add AppleUsbKbDxe.efi driver. That's it.

At what point to press?

I have Logitech K810 and MX Anywhere 2, the keyboard can affect the keystroke ,  can set anothe delay no 5000?

I already wrote it. When you see Motherboard logo start to press and hold while apple logo comes for Command-R and Command+Opt+P+R

Hi Everybody!
I cannot migrate from clover, and I don't understand why. This is an old P8P67 WS Revolution with i7-3370 and a RX 580 Nitro+. I need to go opencore, because the clover crash when I try to load the ApfsDriverLoader.efi.  So just have only one way, the opencore. I fixed a lot of memory allocation error, and I so the next step will be the kernel start, but i stuck here. Completly freeze, and I don't know, where can I start finding this problem. This installer with clover boot without any issue (I use OsxAptioFixDrv in clover), so it will be a configuration error, but i couldn't found any solution.

Here is my log opencore-2020-02-08-121735.txt and config config.plist

Thanks in advance!

Booting stuck on PCI configuration end and apfs_module_Start:1683....

My configuration is i9 10940X + X299 Asus Prime deluxe II motherboard + Radeon VII graphics. I am able to boot with clover but on open core booting is stuck on PCI configuration end + apfs_module_Start:1683....

I have tested  OC on my other i9 9900K +z390 motherboard system and it works well

Do I need to add any quirks or any tweaks for X299? I have TSC sync kext for 14core is already added.

Any help appreciated

Thank you

It's a OOB wifi card no kexts needed. I think it's a NVRAM issue, my config is very unstable on OpenCore : after clear CMOS, i can boot via Opencore 0.5.5. Since I update to Opencore 0.5.6 Beta, I can't.

Config.plist in attachment

OC-config.plist

@Matgen84 any verbose screen?

I checked your config.plist. First, of all, you don't need these ACPI patches you are already using WEG. Remove all. Also, add AWAC.aml and checksum RTC patch. No need to set ProtectSecureBoot quirks YES. Make this NO.

Is this doing the same as HibernationFixup.kext?

Test1-with  HibernationFixup.kext

Test2-with  HibernationFixup.kext + patch

test3-Just patch

Restart your System each time.

@vit9696 You are confusing me. You are saying do not use AppleUsbKbDxe.efi Ivy Bridge (3rd generation Core) and above motherboards. But if I am not using it on my TUF Z390 Hotkeys are doesn't work.

I am using these settings and just Alt/Opt, Command+V Command+S etc. working but Command+R and Command+Opt+P+R unusable.

PollAppleHotKeys YES

ShowPicker NO

TakeoffDelay 5000

Timeout 0

UsePicker YES

KeySupport YES

If I add AppleUsbKbDxe.efi and set KeySupport NO all Hotkeys are working without any problem.

What should we do now are we using this efi driver or not?

Note: I am using Apple Numerical Wired Keyboard.

I’m on Z170 and exhibit the same behavior, but mine does work within a very small time window. I have to press the hot keys within about 100ms of the bios logo disappearing. I’m also on an Apple numerical wired keyboard.

Are you holding or repeatedly press? Cause I tried both it never worked.

But with AppleUsbKbDxe.efi its working like a crazy.

I’ve been able to do it both was. Timing of the press is the most critical. I’m going to try messing with takeoff delay values and switch the protocol from auto to AMI. AppleUsbKbDxe also works perfectly for me but I’m trying not to use it.

I try and let you know. Thanks.

Edit: @telepati

It seems to work now (thanks for your advice on patches). In verbose mode, I see several ACPI error. I have to find the file to find out more
