Why bother with scan policy and setting HideSelf = No. I hope there's an option to set Auto Scan to Off soon, so I can just add my own custom entry for each of the OS with the name I choose..:) Else I am gonna add it myself. Screen Shot below is my custom Window 10 entry with HideSelf=Yes, and Default scan policy, and it happens to sit on the same EFI folder that OC is. There's nothing wrong with voicing your opinion or requesting features that you would like to see in OC here. I think OC direction is try to make your PC hardware look like a Mac hardware (not cosmetic though) as much as possible, so macOs think it's a Mac that's installing on while other bootloaders doesn't care which methods it uses, as long as it works.. As a long time hackintosh user, I get used to patching everything on my DSDT.aml and CPU on SSDT.aml. I didn't say which boot log, did I?...it's other boot loader's boot log. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance. First, try moving the Lilu.kext to first priority loading before any other kexts in Kernel->Patches, You have your VirtualSmc.kext in front of Lilu.kext.
