BALDY_MAN Posted February 4, 2022 Share Posted February 4, 2022 (edited) Could someone tell me What The RealTek Lan chip ID is on the Z690 Gigabyte Gaming X and if the is a kext that could be used with a Monterey Install? in the EFI Folder I have tried to find it but I just find RealTek 2.5 gig lan. This motherboard is actually the first on which a successful boot of macOS was reported in mid-November, on a Forum-Which-Shall-Not-Be-Named-Here. And, for now, pretty much anything Z690 or B660 has been hacked rather painlessly by those who attempted. I've just buided it a few hours ago but I still haven't been able to have a working EFI for this. Could you give me some tips to follow? Thanks! My previous hackintosh was based on an old Gigabyte H110-M and an i5 7500, so I'm really out-of-date with regards in Alder Lake.
