mswgen
Hello. After upgrading my HacBook to macOS Monterey, ProperTree was not working and it just showed a black screen. I found how to resolve this. First, install Python from python.org. Install the latest version with Intel installer. Universal2 installer is broken and Propertree will show an error. Currently, 3.9.9 is the latest version with intel installer. After installing Python, it's time to build Propertree. In the Propertree directory, go to Scripts and execute buildapp-select.command. If it is blocked by Gatekeeper, right-click buildapp-select.command, click Open. Another warning will show up but you'll be able to execute it now. A terminal window will open and ask you to select python. Enter the number of python at /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/... (usually 3), and press enter. Now, go back to the Propertree directory(outside Scripts). There will be ProperTree.app. Drag it to Applications and open it from Launchpad. Now Propertree will work well just like in Big Sur. 1

Henties
@mswgen Thanks, works for me, however I try to avoid Propertree whenever I can because it changes the sequencing of the OC-->Kernel-->Add entries and it also changes everything in there that I marked as "enabled No" to "enabled Yes", which is not very elegant, at least as far as I am concerned. Greetings Henties

Greetings Henties Me too. I only use Propertree when doing (clean) snapshot. I normally use Xcode. However, I only used Propertree before because... In Xcode, there's a bug when edit a plist in FAT partition, save, then edit it again, it shows an error that the file is locked and cannot be released. So I copy config.plist to apfs, edit, then replace the original one with the new one. Now that I know the workaround, I use Xcode. I use clean only when creating new efi and use normal one otherwise. 11 hours ago, Henties said: @mswgen try PlistEdit Pro, you won't regret it. Greetings Hentties It was lightweight and good. Definitely better than Propertree. But that trial is... Not that i made a reset script gonna try it again.
