sandokan71
Hi.. I'm testing my new M.2 NVME Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus, which is able to run at full speed (PCIE 4x4) with 11th gen CPU i5-11400 on Asrock B560M-HDV. Running MacOS Monterey 12.0.1 with Opencore 0.7.6, with a minimal set of kexts (lilu, weg, virtualsmc, intelmausiethernet e NVMeFix) all at latest versions. So far, everything looks great. Just noticed something strange in System Report, section NVMExpress, I can't see anything under "Link Speed" . I would expect something like 16T/sec... but it is empty. Maybe this is normal for a non-Apple NVME controller? Or maybe PCIe4 is not recognized by Apple, so the System Report simply shows a blank output? All the benchmarks appears good, results are almost doubling the typical values obtained with PCIE 3x4, so it's strange... Probably why you're not seeing any Link Speed reported. If all works well, I would not expect more and certainly would not worry about it. Thank you for your feedback! I would be just curious if the same happens to anyone who is using a different NVME drive, compatible with PCIE 4.0 x 4, installed in 11th gen platform similar to mine.. Cyberdevs
@sandokan71 On my Ryzen rig the link speed is also blank as you can see in the picture and since Ryzen is not officially supported by macOS then the result is the same as your situation. I use Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVME drive.

Anyway, I am still not seeing any problem in using this setup, I need to do more tests especially for TRIM..
