Hello everyone! I installed hackintosh a few days ago. Everything works perfectly (like bluetooth, wifi, sleep, etc.) until today I found an issue. My issue is my PC sometimes will reboot by itself randomly. When it happens, there's no kernel panic or any error massage after that happen. I've searched on the internet and here's what I've tried:

1. USB ports mapping

2. CPU power management (using CPUFriend)

3. Update OpenCore version

4. Turn off XMP

Here's my PC specification:

-Intel Core i7-8700

-Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master

-2x16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 MHz

-Intel UHD 630

-650W Gold PSU

-I have an RTX 3070 attached but I've disabled it via boot-args

-macOS Big Sur 11.6.1 (Installed on ADATA 120GB SATA SSD)

-OpenCore 0.7.5 DEBUG

Note: I also run Windows with this PC and never had this issue before. This issue only happens when I use macOS

I've tried these 4 solutions still didn't fix my issue. So, I decided to change my OpenCore from release version to debug version. Here's my log file from my EFI.

I also noticed, when I boot my PC, the verbose says this massage "disableGated Error: disable while enabling [setLinkState] -> try to disable anyhow!" (I attached the picture)

Here's my EFI files (sorry I have to put this on external link because it's than the maximum size of the file upload): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1F9gGugvANFKEKcZPZcJtw5Ifxleq2MOs/view?usp=sharing

Any solutions? Thanks!

Thanks, I'll try to run my PC with this EFI, I'll give you more information when I face another crash because the crash happens randomly and I don't know how to reproduce the crash.

Very likely some hardware problem since you are not getting kernel panics… If really randomly reboots out of the blue, I would suspect either some overheating on your motherboard or some power issues. (Sudden power drops) Generally due to faulty power supply or components on the motherboard.

While setting up my Desktop the last few days I also got random reboots.

The solution for me was shrinking the totally stolen memory of the GPU in config.plist.

See

for more details.

Good luck!
