Hello guys,

I’m trying to get past this AGDP mode validate property, I’ve followed the Dortania's OpenCore step by step thoroughly and not able to get past this kernal panic. I’ve tried troubleshooting a lot and still not able to get past this.

I've downloaded the kexts mentioned in the logs and rechecked the config.plist.

The GTX 1080 is incompatible with macOS and needs to be disabled. According to the Log you also need SSDT-IMEI.aml. Posting your EFI might help as well (without Serials and Resources) for Troubleshooting

So I removed the dedicated GPU entirely from the system and finally installed high sierra, now upon booting from the internal SSD where High Sierra was installed, the Log says Mac OS Version not yet set. (https://icedrive.net/0/57hDvhRCHe)

Check Booter Quirks, Kernel Quirks, Device Properties and SMBIOS. You need iMac17,1 for Skylake.

AND:

- Are there other Disks in the machine which contain an EFI Folder?

- Is the Boot-Order in the BIOS set to the correct driver?

- HOW did you install macOS? Did you use a USB Installer? If so, try booting from that that stick

- If the system boots from that, mount the ESP of your SSD, rename the existing EFI Folder and copy the one from the USB Installer onto it.

Device Platform set to iMac17,1

- There are no other Disks which contain an EFI Folder.

- Boot Order is set to the current drive.

- Used a USB to install High Sierra, the Offline version which requires an Internet Connection.

I cross checked the config.plist and yet I'm getting the "Mac OS Version not yet set."

Log Files are created but contains nothing, they are Blank.

@ShanerWarner You had both FakeSMC32 and VirtuaSMC.kext in there. Kexts weren't in the correct order. You als had 2 SSDT-PLUG files as well. Some errors in the config. Atheros kext was outdated

I think it should work now. Try this from a FAT32 formatted USB Stick:EFI.zip

This work beautifully. But the Network adapter isn't working now, the moment I selected DHCP from the Network Page before Terms and conditions and creating the Username/Password/. It would crash.

I think the previous Atheros kext was functional.

Also I would like to know where did I goof up in the config.plist and how did you get the GUI for the boot menu 😍?

@ShanerWarner Ah, okay. Then it's probably best to revert that Atheros kext. I recall having that issue too when I had  had a board with this CPU and Ethernet controller.

I checked the file structure, deleted  duplicated files and unnecessary kexts,

Created a new snapshot in ProperPree.

The I  opened the config in OpenCoreAuxiliaryTools.  (OCAT)

Then I hit save > Boom: this migrates config to the latest version and performs a validation

Then I fixed errors, double checked the install guide (booter quirks and Kernel quirks and UEFI section mainly)

Lastly, I hit "Synchronize" button > boom, OC up to date, resources folder is added.

Then enabled the Bootpicker.

Checked for kext updates using Kext updater

Done

You could enable "HideAuxiliary" now, so all the tools are only shown after pressing space bar.

For a detailed update guide there's a thread about that as well. Link is in my signature

Install NVIDIA Webdrivers for your GTX 1080 and check that you can check this AGPM Injector kext out: https://github.com/Pavo-IM/AGPMInjector

For integrated graphics check DeviceProperties section, to see if you ise the correct settings: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config.plist/skylake.html#deviceproperties

@5T33Z0 Reporting Back.

Got the Intel HD530 to work using the Hackintool and patched the DeviceProperties using OpenCore Configurator.
Now I can select the Native resolution of my Display @ 1440p resolution.

Its at 60hz, i guess its being limited by the iGPU. SInce Windows 10 also shows 60hz refresh rate.
