in both or only in delete ??

I test in a few minutes

I will try it too 👍

Under NVRAM > Delete > 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 >> This deletes boot-args from NVRAM on boot and then the boot-args listed und "Add" will be applied. This is useful when experimenting with EFI settings so there are no unwanted entries remaining in NVRAM.

Is this flag for autrheticated root in Monterey?

Big Sur and Monterey has extended SIP bits split into 2 sections. Specifically csrutil disable and csrutil authenticated-root disable

Can someone recommend a LAN card for the Z490 Vision G just in case no one manages to find a fix to get the the Intel I225-V 2.5 Gb Ethernet Controller working in Monterey?

I think we have to wait for the full version to solve this problem like bigsur in beta version.

Pavo,

Can you see if the attached version works?

SmallTreeIntel82576_mod.kext.zip 71.59 kB · 6 downloads

It loads the kext and shows it active in IOReg and System Profiler, but Ethernet port is showing as unplugged and manually setting the IP address also does not work.

Guys, just a quick reminder that, to completely disable SIP, the correct value is 0xFEF. 0xFFF enables Apple Internal flag which is NOT desired because it blocks all macOS updates. All those of you who set csr-active-config to FF0F0000 will not get subsequent beta updates. It's been discussed at great length in Big Sur threads in recent past.

@pompis12 check that you have NVRAM working properly. Set a dummy variable, reboot and check the variable presence in nvram after reboot:

sudo nvram dummy=1
nvram -p | grep dummy

Of course, this will disappear after any NVRAM reset from OC Picker.

I also expect you need to use an Ivy Bridge/HD4000 SMBIOS to gain graphics acceleration, something you do not appear to be using. HD4000 MacBook computers include MBP9,1, MBP9,2 or MBP10,2. Check this out at Everymac.com. Right now, you must be using MBP11,4/11,5 or MBP12,1 (2015).

Done:

o6HhpyI.png

SMBIOS I tried 11.4 - 11.5 and 12.1 .... same result, without graph acceleration

Again, switch to MBP9,2 or MBP10,2. Make sure you use the other required boot arg (amfi).

Now I have it like that:

A7yY4Dc.png

It is correct "Csr-Active-Config" ???

With version of MacBook Pro less than 11.4 does not start the system

Regards

I have a pretty similar laptop and no sleep problem.  If you want to upload your config file and (if Clover) a list of your custom kexts, I can compare to mine.

@asdesoso  @Shaneee @Hervé an many others ..... thank you very much for your help 🤗

Solved ... almost exploits my head and it was easy

IsyNjHu.png

The problem was in the "AAPL, IG-Platform-ID" ... probably the OpenCoreConfigurator that I used it in the morning to generate SMBIOS was an ancient version and it has modified the config.plist :(

I have verified the backup copies that I had of the EFI, and also the Big Sur and are correct (04006601), only the Config.plist that I was using had the "AAPL, IG-Platform-ID" in 00000201 ...Normal that does not work 😱

Regards

I attached my EFI folder

Compare with your EFI folder

I use patched dsdt with openCore bootload

With Clover hotpatch ssdts

I will attach clover EFI

OpenCore-EFI.zip

Clover-EFI.zip

Yeah, I forgot it, to tell you, the AAPL, IG-Platform-ID enables the QE/CI, without this value IGPU won´t be enabled.

I´m glad to see that you finally be able to enable your HD 4000.

One question, how did you put the Graphics section in about this mac?

Cheers.

I noticed that you have 23 kexts in OC but only 21 kexts in Clover.  The 2 missing (and possibly unneeded) kexts were CtlnaAHCIPort.kext and VoodooTSCSync.kext. Do you see any noticeable differences when you boot using Clover vs. OC?

Here's a photo of my custom kexts.

563690628_CloverOtherKexts.thumb.jpg.8bfb9ae2693e8c1d9a4e7902d274d958.jpg

I would try to remove as many custom kexts as possible and add them back one at a time to see when you can boot and if sleep works without some of them.  BTW, our DSDT/SSDT were pretty similar and I don't think that is a likely issue.  However, I do not need the SSDT-PLUG and I'm not sure why you think you do.  I'm also not sure why you are using all of the TSCSyn kexts.  In OC, you are using 2 of them and they might be conflicting.

Experiment with your kexts to see if you can get sleep to work and let me know if anything interesting arises.  Good luck.

Oh, BTW, the VirtualSMC sensors on my laptop are located within a plugins folder I created inside the VirtualSMC.kext.

It appears alone with certain Mac models ...

With MacBook Pro 11.5 I came out 😄

Sometimes a detail costs us hours of work. Maybe it's one of the things we like about this world :)

Spoiler

Enhorabuena, lo has conseguido, ahora a disfrutarlo.

Here are my Clover and OC EFI folders.  I had to delete portions to reduce the size of the folders but you will have the essentials.  I use CPUFriend to increase the number. of P-States for Speedstepping and to reduce the minimum frequency to 800 MHz from Apple's 1300 MHz.

CLOVER.zip

OC.zip
