alex-5000 Posted April 22, 2021 Share Posted April 22, 2021 Hello, I am totally new to the world of Hackingtosh and decided to build one. I used OpenCore Guide for Comet Lake hardware. Everything went good and I got new shiny Big Sur Desktop. Everything is working fine except my WiFi Card is not recognized at all. I can only have internet via cable. I kept on reading that there are issues with some WiFi cards in Macs. I couldn't find out what is the problem. I tried this solution : https://www.fixitbunny.com/2021/03/11/how-to-fix-intel-wifi-and-bluetooth-on-macos-big-sur-hackintosh/ - but it doesn't work for me. There isn't much on Google about this problem. I was hoping someone could advise on this forum, who has experience with Hachintosh builds on how to solve this? Should I get another card? If I look at Compatibility section, I see my card there: Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9260 160MHz ( at least 9260NGW marking ), kexts are in place and config.plist updated. Yet card is not recognized. You may want to consider Broadcom M.2 cards that are fully supported and would give you wireless connections at 867 or 1300Mbps. These include cards based on BCM4350, BCM4360 or BCM4352 chipsets.
