4790K + Z87-C. iGPU  HD4600 is disabled in motherboard BIOS.

I just got a new DELL GT730 with dual DP ports. Connected 2 DP ports at the same time with my DELL UP2715k, it works well on Win10 with 5k resolution.

But with Big Sur, 5k doesn't work, it looks quite weird on color & resolution, not at 5k. I tried to switch to single DP1 or DP2, they works well at 4k resolution.

Previously I use AMD card, boot with agdpmod=pikera and everything is done.  I did the same but it shows a black screen after it finishes the process bar before entering onto desktop. I can fell that system booting is complete but just black screen.

Afaik, max. resolution supported by Kepler GK208B GeForce GT730 is 4K 3840x2160 (@24 or 30Hz over HDMI and should be @60Hz over DP). I don't believe it supports 5K resolution unless it's a specific feature of that Dell card but I'd be surprised with this type of cheap entry-level cards and it'd pretty much be unique...

With apps such as SwitchResX, you may be able to create a fake 5K resolution but it'd just be a software arrangement, not a real and native resolution of course

I guess Dell made a different because on Win10 I did find it work at 5k resolution. The output performance are just same with what I have seen with RX570 before.

This GT730 comes with 2DP ports, GDDR5, 2G RAM; the specification is higher than ordinary old GT730?

Now you can sell W5000+W7000+GT730 and  buy a newer one:)

P.S. Try to update the firmware, especially if you have UEFI boot.

Actually I do have a newer one - Powercolor R9 280X 3G. This meets all my requirement (also dual mini DP to achieve 5k output on DELL up2715k) but I am just interested in trying GT730 since it's cheap and have dual DPs while the seller claimed that it supports dual DP for 4k@60hz each - money back guarantee. I guess this time I should have my money back if I can't settle that  in a few days. I have tried hard but....:)

For UEFI, no need to update. This card already supports UEFI OOB.
