I just added the "-v" (verbose) to boot arguments and unfortunately it stops booting as per picture... MacPato Posted July 6, 2020 Share Posted July 6, 2020 Anyone with a haswell CPU that is struggling to boot big sur, this may help you as my machine doesn't boot without emulation. it's an odd one but i tried everything to get the installer working and this was the fix for my haswell system. But anyone using my config check this section as some will need it and some won't, so if you get ACPI kernel panics with it, then remove it.
