I tried both options ... with USBInjectAll and a kext generated with the Hackintool application, in which I deleted all inactive ports ... how else can I generate a kext? ... can it be from ssd? I use a toshiba ssd ... I tried all the hibernate modes 0, 3, 25 ... the same thing ... random kp or battery discharge ...

One easy way to find potential Sleep problem - Remove all USB Connections apart from keyboard and Mouse then try putting machine to sleep, if Sleep is successful at this point, plug each removed USB connections back in one by one and retry Sleep each time to see if any are causing the problem.

Use Hackintool to see if the problem can be fixed - See attached.

PS - I am sure I read somewhere (is it the OC Guide?) one should stay away from Hibernate Mode as it causes too many problems. In my config.plist Hibernate Mode=None.

From my own experience and from what I have read in the Clover General Discussion thread, 5124 does not boot BS Beta 10.  An update should be available shortly.

For my personal experience with my signature hardware (Asus Z87 plus) with the clover 5123/24 I had no installation or startup problems, as demonstrated ..
Surely there are problems that will surely be solved with future updates, currently there are few PCs that can start the current clover

So there appears to be a workaround, at least for now, to get Clover v.5124 to boot BS Beta 10.  You need to boot from the preboot entry rather than the entry for the BS system partition.  For me, that means that I need to press F3 when I get to the Clover window to show the preboot partitions that I have hidden by default.  Once I boot from the preboot partition, it boots quickly and without errors.

Same results for me, names Big Sur drive won’t boot but preboot does. Such strange behaviour. Thanks Apple.

Kinda off topic.

Will this card work with macOS Big Sur OOB? No extra kexts?

Or should I stick with a BCM94352Z based card?

A bit off - topic. It should work BUT please mind that these cards have weird connectors, the motherboard's antenna cables will not "click" perfectly. I have a very bad recent experience where I finally resorted to an Apple Card with an adapter.

The 1820A I have in my desktop (onboard wifi) works great but the 1820A in my laptop Bluetooth is very flaky and the firmware won’t update. And my laptop doesn’t have room for any adapters.

You can give it a go, then. They do provide a plastic piece that is supposed to hold the connectors in place and not disconnect. The card does not need any kexts.

The card in the picture doesn’t need any extra kexts or both?

Neither the card in the picture or an Apple Native needs any kexts.

Youtube videos on Safari aren't working anymore on Beta 10 for me. (Notebook 1 in my signature), no extensions installed.

Yes - Youtube still contains bug even on real Macs as reported.
