eSaF
I need some clarity, I just built the latest OC 0.6.2 commit on a test USB drive and boot Beta 8 off it but at the Boot Menu, it only shows the BS drive and not Windows in my dual boot system. What am I missing? I have attached the config.plist for perusal, any help is appreciated. config.plist PS - Never mind I just found my mistake - I left Scan Policy at the default value instead of a Zero (0) entry. You mean in system prefs - startup disk? Try resetting nvram in opencore menu and reboot. It will make windows as default option in opencore boot menu. I remember in some beta I also saw only the macOS.
eSaF
I am perplexed by the Startup Disk operation in System Preferences. First off I had the insane flickering between BS and windows, now the flickering has stoped but when the lock is engaged again, the BS Disk icon turns into a folder (see video), I have never seen that before. I will wait for the next update stand alone installation and do a clean install instead of messing with what I have now. I am too exhausted to track down all the anomalies of BS on my system although that is the only one I find irksome, everything else is just fine. Unfortunately this one didn't work, I get 3 errors. The first 2 are from the ReservedMemory; the IGPU if wrote off from having a different egpu and cpu, but the ReservedMemory #2 has a comment for a Thinkpad, which made no sense with your motherboard. The 3rd error was from HIIDATABASE.....what does this do & why add it? thanks.

Try this EFI on a test USB Drive, this is the latest commit OC O.6.2 version you will need to fill in your personal Data. I have removed the Driver HidaDataBase from the Drivers Folder. The OC Guide has an explanation and description of what each component does better than I can explain here. Good luck. EFI.zip
