All my tests are unsucessed I can boot from Big Sur Bootable USB Installer && macOS Install Data with Clover r5120, but I have KP issue with IOPCIFamily* (deps. AppleACPI, AppleSMC..) on unsupported Platform (Arrandale) using MBP12,1 SMBios which has no problem under Catalina 10.15.6. No booting issue with OpenCore either (Legacy), but exactly same KP. Hi @fusion71au, any idea on this? I've also tried modifying BaseSystem.dmg with replacing com.apple.Boot.plist > Kernel Cache from Kernel*.kc to prelinkedkernel (10.16) and I believe BigSur loads this (as EB / Early Boot report no ERR). Or can you tell me how to decompress prelinkedkernel removing some stuffs on it? Thanks. Edited August 6, 2020 by Badruzeus

aryaone
unfortunately I can't find the update to BS Beta 4 when running update from sys-pref, even if I already set swuswitcher.app to "developer program members". any suggestions to get the update through syspref? dehjomz
To those of you running Big Sur on Intel 10th Gen (z490), can any of you get the system to boot without using Opencore->Kernel->Emulate->CPUID emulation? I can get Catalina 10.5.6 to boot without CPUID emulation, but Big Sur won't boot unless I enable emulation... using iMac19,1. Also, Is anyone else having issues with safari on Big Sur Beta4 with Javascript enabled? With javascript on, I can't access certain sites, like Apple.com, Facebook, Gmail, etc. Very strange. manmo71
Spoiler @Alex HQuest Thank you so much for that info. After I download the installer using the script. I had moved a copy to the applications folder and tried the update which caused the error that I reported earlier. After I returned from work. I deleted the installer from the applications folder and started the App from the downloaded folder directly and the upgrade went smooth without any errors. I am right now posting this from BS B4. Not still sure what exactly changed between these two attempts of installation. The copies of the Downloaded App remained the same except for the folder from where I started the upgrade. My system is always connected to the internet through the LAN port, WiFi though working is currently disabled (can enable it when needed) Anyway thanks to all who gave their valuable inputs.
D-an-W
Once Big Sur is installed and I reboot back to Catalina (Same SSD, different partition) the only folder I can see / mount from the Big Sur partition is one called "Update" is that normal? Also, my en0 & en1 network Interfaces are reversed between Catalina & Big Sur has anyone else noticed that?

eSaF
To be quite honest I don't think there will be any difference from Developers Beta 4. I may test it on another disk to see if and what but at this moment curiosity is not pushing me enough.
