eSaF
As pointed out not very easy to install over Beta2, not for me anyway so in the process of doing a clean install from a USB installer - man what a PITA. 1
MorenoAv
Hi @eSaF, Call it a very BIG PITA, I can't update too, but I'm going to make a new usb installer and try that way.... The macOS Big Sure and Apple this time fight back.. until we win... LoL ...

I had FileVault enabled on this system. And it failed on the first restart after typing my FileVault password. (No disk activity, mouse and keyboard are shut down). Trying again, this time without FileVault encryption. Same issue here, although I don't have FileVault encryption.... I'm creating the USB installer.. see how it goes.. PropoFlexWX4
Ok. Luckily this was just a minor nuisance. This build once again requires "vsmcgen=1" boot arg to install. 21 minutes ago, Dragster27 said: Same issue here, although I don't have FileVault encryption.... eSaF
Installed after reapplying the fix by PropoFlexWX4, the strange thing is the Disk/Volume is not named as Big Sur in the boot menu as I named it the Name is Preboot. Now that is something that I can't live with. On the Desktop the correct name appears. Edited July 23, 2020 by eSaF

Real Mac users aren't supposed to see this. One thing that surprised me is the amount of stuff the installer does in the background (behind the fancy Apple logo with progress bar).. Copies lots of files... does several things...

SavageAUS
Is it normal for @gengik84 script to download a .sparseimage file? I accidentally downloaded the wrong version which is fine but it was a sparseimage file. I am downloading BS B3 now with the same script so i will see if it downloads as a sparseimage or not but if it does what can i do with it? Is this the best way to get BS B3?
