really that is a bust but for those that want color in Graphical Boot Menu

In NVRAM the first folder for background color insert 8 F's.  this changes the font color from white to black.

I assume since I have not tried yet, that it maybe that by changing the background color to another color besides white or black perhaps blue, purple, magenta the font color may change to other than black or white.

@chris1111 that wasn't the question.

Other's may want to use a different background and need other font colors.

Thus having the options to do so. Don't you think? ;)

Very nice! I like the new design.

I was waiting something because I saw that you were working with Vuepress and I thought that you were going to change the site or even add your themes to the OpenCanopy gallery.

Great work!

Thanks 😃

Yea probably change the site but not add to the gallery, I give up on that:P

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi All,

I'm planning to install macOS Monterey and macOS Ventura on a dedicated drive in a multiboot system along with Windows 11 and Linux, each on their own separate drive.

Currently i'm using the theme "HardDrivesWithImages" (https://github.com/blackosx/OpenCanopyIcons/tree/master/Set3/MiscExtras/HardDrivesWithImages) in the Opencore Boot picker for nvme M.2/Sata SSD/Mechanical Hard Disks (Thank You Blackosx!🙂👍)

Unfortunately this theme is not updated to macOS Ventura and so I would like to ask:

Is there any chance it will be updated?

Alternatively, having some Photoshop/Gimp skills, could anyone suggest me how to go about making some types of icons of this theme updated to macOS Ventura?

Thanks in advance for Your help

Dear friend, if you want you can call me picky 🙂

I really like the last 2 themes but I see slightly poorly defined edges and rounded corners of the Mac Pro figures. Logically it is more noticeable in HDPI mode (UIScale = 2).
Maybe it is something voluntarily sought by you when designing the theme.
What do you think?

Spoiler

Yes its volontary

I wanted to make this design Primitive and very basic

I did not test to use more refined icons and see what it would give
