Anto65
I re-downloaded OpenCanopyIcons-master thanks @blackosx for the wonderful job done, you simplified the icon titles, put aside the extra icons especially in the Set4b set clean , great . Unfortunately I wanted to put on the GreenGlow set but the gui is not active, I tried to swap Selector.icns and SetDefault.icns apparently seemed strange to me, but nothing the set to the left of the shoot goes Edited April 10, 2021 by antuneddu

I find no apparent fault in that Green theme that does not work. Could it be that some icon has the wrong dimensions? I'm going to test it. blackosx
@antuneddu There should be no issue other than maybe a corruption when downloading an icon from the repo. But in this case, I wouldn’t have thought the Finder would show and icon for the image. Please share your image dir so I can test it here.

Could this have been the problem? Are there any icons for Linux to use? Thank you Edited April 10, 2021 by antuneddu
blackosx
Good to hear you have it working. I was sure you had the correct PickerVariant as you know what you’re doing but I had to ask anyway. I can’t see an issue between copying the whole dir and renaming it vs copying its contents. And without seeing your image dir that didn’t work I won’t know. No. There are currently no Linux icons for the Glow sets. But I could add them.... blackosx
Okay. No problem. The Linux icon looks a good start I’ll generate a suite of them as soon as I can. Are there any Linux distro’s you’re using that I don’t currently create icons for in set3? For ref, if anyone encounters an issue where the icons downloaded from the repo using the script causes a failed boot then please post that dir here.

I think a generic one with the penguin is enough if you have to make one for each distro and for each set you don't get out more ... thanks

blackosx
Thanks. I only asked because at the time we were trying to work out what in his Images dir could possibly be causing a failed boot. As I didn’t see a background image in your screenshot it made me think your test didn’t include all icons.

blackosx
Heh. That’s good! But more importantly, this was the whole point of this topic which was to provide a range of icons which users could use to build themselves their own styled UI. The options will only grow in time..... Edit. Thinking ahead... Imagine some program that could take an SVG icon, adjust the colours to whatever colour you wish, generate the correctly sized PNG for 1x and 2x scale and convert to ICNS.... I think you did it very well thanks to you and @chris1111 there is so much of that material now there is a lot of choice, even if someone can turn up their nose for staying in line with real macs but I believe that customization is various and subjective on the other hand in every system, smatphone etc. that you use try to customize it this does not mean discrediting the system itself. Cute would also introduce the random theme option without undoing the image folder every time ... Who knows.... Thanks again

Here you see the theme with background, how beautiful and elegant, icons are of great quality. Congrats for your work!!! Note: if I don't add icons for external devices (at least ExtAppleRecv and ExtAppleTM) the picker is in text mode, but this is the expected behavior in OpenCanopy. Anto65
hi yes in fact as @miliuco says wanted to report the absence of ExtAppleRecv and ExtAppleTM without those no gui, last night I had copied the missing icons from other sets, i downloaded everything from here https://github.com/blackosx/OpenCanopyIcons in the Set4b / Light set I found another selector badly named, not I would like to be boring but I think it is right to point this out to you Edited April 11, 2021 by antuneddu
