grandosegood
Hey Folks, So I recently got Mojave 10.14.6 running on my X99 rig, and also recently upgraded to a Radeon VII. After an initial struggle, I finally got the system installed and up and running, with many thanks to KGP’s guide on x99 for Mojave. However, about a month later, and still now today, I notice that random freezing will occur. I was doing some remote video editing via teamviewer, when everything locked up. I also had avid media composer open on my system. It’s my understanding the Radeon VII has native support, so I shouldn’t need any additional clover patches for it to work. I’ve attached my clover folder, and am running the latest versions of lilu and whatevergreen. When the system freezes, the mouse locks up as well. I have a feeling it may be related to my config.plist or missing/incorrect SSDTs. I can also reproduce this error by running ‘sudo sysdiagnose’, which quickly freezes the machine at 3-5% of the sysdiagnose and requires a hard reboot. Possibly related, the system boots up ok for the most part, then does this weird graphical glitch, of a failing screen, but then loads to the login window.
