My configuration is the following: Motherboard: ASUS HB81-PLUS (https://www.asus.com/it/Motherboards/H81PLUS/specifications/) CPU: Intel i5-4570 @ 3.20 GHz (https://ark.intel.com/content/www/it/it/ark/products/75043/intel-core-i5-4570-processor-6m-cache-up-to-3-60-ghz.html) I have double checked that: CSM is off in the BIOS ig-platform-id and device-id are valid if running an iGPU. oliveryuan
I couldn't find any method to fix it, so what I do was to install macOS Catalina into a 32 GB USB, then boot from there, and back up my information, then reformat the hard drive, install sierra and put my information back. Lesson learned, always use the Time Machine to have your info updated. If that's all you have as display output, you're out of luck and will need an add-on PCIe graphics card. Yes... that's all I have... WhateverGreen has a section on VGA Support... https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md#vga-support @Hervé Do you think that it will not work in any way?
