zogthegreat
Hi everyone! So, I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to my question, but it never hurts to ask. A friend of mine offered me his old 2nd generation iPad. Based on my basic research, it's essentially a very pretty paper weight, as it will not take any updates past iOS 5. Does anyone know any way to get a more recent version of iOS onto this device? Or anything practical that can be done with it? It's in mint condition and I would hate to send it out for recycling. Thanks! zog
zogthegreat
Thanks Hervé! (EDIT) Yes, your right, it will take iOS 9.3.5. Which still makes it fairly useless. To bad, it's really nice hardware. Edited May 24, 2020 by zogthegreat
