dasca.thea
Hi everyone,I have run into a frustrating problem here.My hardware:MSI x399 Meg Creation2990WX64GB ram @2933MhzRadeon 7Sata: Samsung 130GB SSDM.2: Samsung 970 Pro 1TB PCIe: intel x550T2 Blackmagicdecklink 4K catalina 10.15.4(both 10.15.3 works the same way) Using OC 0.5.6: I have successful installed OSX catalina onto my SATA SSD. It works flawlessly. But with NVMe drive, there are a lot of problems. I had to take out all PCI card during the installation. After that, the OS runs fine, but every time I reboot, I get kernel panic "Error Loading kernel 0x1" most of the time. Sometimes powering it down and turn back on works fine. sometimes I have to rebuild Cache from recovery partition. It will only work when I use SMBios MacPro6,1 and my RAM speed has to be 2133Mhz(default) I am guessing it has something to do with PCI lane that is managed by the chipset? right now I manual set PCI gen and PCI lane allocation in the Bios. Can someone please help? config.plist.zip EFI.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/343217-opencore-runs-unstable-booting-os-from-nvmessd-works-great/ Share on other sites
