Donw35
just looking at your kexts, you have way more then needed, always start with the minimal kexts and make sure you have the latest versions. chan29ster
Thanks @Donw35 & @Hervé I have freshly installed macOS High Sierra (17G11023) on newly purchased WD SSD 240GB , I followed your instruction as you mentioned in your first post i.e. https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/323180-catalina-mojave-high-sierra-on-hp-800-g1-usdtsff-and-tower-pcs/ , also I have installed few drivers to efi folder and it let me boot ssd (macOS), Now I'm getting some error ( this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a --Power management may be incomplete or unsupported" ) also usb 3.0 isn't working. if I'm again wrong somewhere then please let me know. Orels if you can provide me your efi folder earlier one for Sierra or High Sierra it would be best for me. I have done few mackintosh on gigabyte motherboards but due to this machine I'm stucked. Im attaching the screenshot and efi folder too & this is my new efi folder link https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Xz53AfQN28uFubt9r0l_iNaYX9e1Z3l5 Please help it would be really appreciated. neil_stark
If you have a bog standard Haswell platform -and I believe you do-, you should not require any specific kexts to obtain USB3 support. All you need is to inject Darwin as Windows2006 (Vista) or Windows2009 (Win7) through DSDT patch or apply FixDarwin7 ACPI patch in Clover. rufus Edited March 22, 2020 by neil_stark
